For example, 37 m² × A$72.97 gives the carpet line of A$2,699.89. The 74 m² plasterboard line is 74 × A$40.54 = A$2,999.96. The PDF’s 0% tax input does not determine how tax applies to another project.
Make the scope boundaries explicit
The PDF gives a concise scope and line items; it does not provide a detailed inclusions and exclusions schedule. When adapting this example, spell out what the wet bar lump sums cover, whether fixtures and appliances are supplied, which surfaces receive paint, and what the electrical hours include. Also identify any structural changes, hidden-condition repairs or work in other rooms separately if they are outside your price.
The A$600 permits and inspections line and A$1,500 contingency line are labelled allowances. Replace those example amounts with your own basis and explain how an allowance will be reconciled. Confirm measurements, product selections, access and the required trades before treating the total as a price for a real job.
